Combinations and conversions

Virtually all combinations of words are allowed. The users of the language determine whether a combination makes sense and becomes established.

Besides, Synglish offers many building blocks (prefixs and suffixs) that can change the function (action, prop, spec) and/or the meaning of a word.

For instance:

  • +d converts an action into a prop. Example: paint – paintd
  • +r converts an action into a theing. Example: act – actr

In Synglish there are only positive words. In order to make a negative word a user attaches one of the following prefixes before a word

  • un- (ungood)
  • ml- (mlfunction)
  • ms- (msinterpret)
  • – (-balance)
