Preps

Preps (English: prepositions) are words like in, on, behind, before, et cetera. These are words that you can put before theings as ‘hous’ and ‘vacation’. A sentence is not finished if you would not put anything behind a prep).

The cat is in the house, on the roof, behind the curtain, before the fridge.

Note the difference in use of words:

  • I fal down hil (prep)
  • I fal down (spec)
  • I feel down (prop)

Distinction between preps, props and specs is not as important as it seems because of the flexibility and creative freedom Synglish offers.
